Cañas Dulces still preserves the traditional rural landscape of Guanacaste and retains the charm of this humble and welcoming people living at the base of the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano. It’s a place filled with old country roads, trails, pastures, and natural freshwater rivers where you can enjoy natural pools and refresh during the tour.

The tour covers approximately of about 5 miles, taking approximately 2 to 3 hours. You'll travel along old routes and paths through the savanna, past ancient trees, wildlife, birds, and forest, ultimately reaching a freshwater natural river pool.
The tour includes a bike, a certified guide, parking, showers, and a traditional Guanacaste lunch. Night tours are also available upon request.
The meeting point is in the town of Cañas Dulces, at our office where the activities begin and end.
